  1. The permissions on linux are totally messed up in version 5.4. Cookies can be exported, but not even seen to import.

To fix this make the following change: chrome/content/dialogue.js, line 1167: change 0x666 to -1.

(0666 would also work, but that would leave your cookies world readable to any other user/program on the system.)

  3. Filter of "Cookie Manage window" in 2.6 is very slow to search. Old "Manage Cookies window" in 2.5 was faster. Bad English, sorry...

    1. Thanks for the feedback. Will try to optimize it in the next release.

Mean while, to make it little faster, you can try to delete cookies from unwanted domains (if any).

    1. Hi,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

I tried it with Firefox 27 and also checked with other users with this version, and didn't find any issues with cookie manager.

Not sure, if any other add-on is causing some compatibility issues, just to confirm this, can you please do the below and get back to me with details.

      1) Create new firefox profile (by running (firefox.exe -P)
      2) Install Advanced Cookie Manager
      3) Browser a few sites (to create cookies) :)
      4) Open ACM and see if it shows any cookies.

Here are the more details about how to create new firefox profile....

      Thanks,

    2. Simillar issue. I am using the latest Firefox version and I see cookies sometimes, and sometimes I don't (while they surely exist). Tried running it as the only addon and same result.

    1. These are the expired cookies. Firefox apis some times returning the expired cookies also.

You can hide these expired cookies by unselecting the "show expired cookies" option in settings tab in cookie manager tool.

  6. One feature set that you might want to consider:
Very often people will have certain procedures they have to do in a tool like this, and they'll likely have to do it quite often. I'd say the most common would be to delete a particular cookie. It would be very nice to record these shortcuts and be able to quickly access them in the future. I'd say you could get the most initial value from this just from implementing "delete shortcuts" that can be access quickly from the main dialog.

  7. Since FF V. 43.0.1 the icon showing up in the toolbar is of an enormous size, so that your 'Advanced Cookie Manager' is not usable anymore in a standard installation...
... please have a look into this.

    Thanks!

  8. very nice and useful tool...
especially the option to change ending Date of Cookies.
also the startup restore of a Cookie.

But it would be a really, really great idea to implent an option to have the startup restore running while Firefox starts...and not just starting cookie master each time manually....
    thanks a lot
    cheers thomas
